Green and gold
I noticed something interesting in my Food Connect box the other night.
A bunch of bananas at a mixed stage of ripeness. I had heard that one way to accelerate the ripening of bananas is to put them close to other fruit, such as apples or oranges. However, this doesn’t seem to explain what is going on here, as it was the green bananas that were closest to the apples/citrus in the box.
Does anyone know what might be going on?
